Perry began his acting career in the late 1980s, appearing in small roles in television shows and films. He landed his breakthrough role in 1994, when he was cast as Chandler Bing on Friends. The show was a huge success, and Perry became one of the most popular actors on television.

Addiction and Recovery

Perry is a supporter of several charities, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Human Rights Campaign. He is also a member of the board of directors for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
