Jim Donovan Retires from Goldman Sachs

After 27 years of service, Jim Donovan has retired from Goldman Sachs.

Donovan was a managing director and vice chairman of global client coverage.

Donovan joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 and has held a variety of leadership roles during his tenure. He was named vice chairman of global client coverage in 2018. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the firm's relationships with its largest clients worldwide.

Donovan is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. He is also an adjunct professor at the school. Donovan is married and has three children.

In a statement, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon said, "Jim has been a trusted advisor to our clients and a valued member of our firm. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him all the best in his retirement."
