2022 NHL Stanley Cup Final: Panthers to face Oilers in Game 2

Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers battle for Stanley Cup

Panthers secure Game 1, Oilers aim to tie in Game 2

The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers are set to square off in Game 2 of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Final on Monday at Amerant Bank Arena. The Panthers took the early advantage in the series, securing a 4-1 victory in Game 1 on Saturday.

The Panthers will now look to build on their momentum and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. The Oilers, on the other hand, will be desperate to even the series and avoid falling into an 0-2 hole.

The Panthers are the slight favorites to win Game 2, but the Oilers have a lot of experience in these situations. The Oilers won the last two games of the Western Conference Final against the Colorado Avalanche to advance to the Stanley Cup Final.

The Oilers are led by Connor McDavid, who is one of the most dynamic players in the NHL. McDavid had a goal and an assist in Game 1, and he will be looking to continue his strong play in Game 2.

The Panthers are counting on Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau and Carter Verhaeghe to lead their offensive attack. Barkov scored two goals in Game 1, while Huberdeau had three assists.

Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET on Monday. The game will be televised on ABC and ESPN.
