Game 2 Thriller Ends with Go-Ahead Three
Dallas Moves Within Two Wins of Conference Finals Berth
In a thrilling Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, the Dallas Mavericks emerged victorious over the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 109-108. With just three seconds remaining on the clock, Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic drained a go-ahead three-pointer to seal the win for his team.
Doncic led the Mavericks' scoring with 33 points, while All-Star guard Kyrie Irving added 30 points. Timberwolves' star Anthony Edwards put up a valiant effort with 26 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Dallas' late surge.
The Mavericks now have a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 3 will take place in Minnesota on Saturday, May 28. If they can win one more game on the road, they will advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2011.
